We first reached out to Companion Home Care when my dad was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer. Michelle provided us with around the clock coverage devoted to my dad's needs.
As my dad's illness progressed, my mother's dementia issues were increasing ten-fold. We soon realized that we were going to need 24/7 care for my mom to keep her safe in her home after my dad passed. We had a wonderful group of dedicated companions led by Milly.
Milly quickly became my mom's absolute favorite and a part of our family. Milly was so caring and dedicated to my mom's care as her highest priority. When mom was ready to be moved into assisted living, Milly helped us transition our mom into the new environment which was essential.
I know everyone has heard horror stories about in home caregivers but you can be assured that under Michelle's leadership you will get honest and truly loving caregivers.

My 2 experiences with Michelle Belton and her company, Companion Home Care, were great. Three years ago my father in law needed more help caring for his wife of 60 years at home with her declining Alzheimer’s condition.
I reached out to one of my long time friends in the Roanoke area who had experience with companies that help care for patients with dementia as he had both parents with this disease. He had tried a few companies but his advice to me was simple: call Michelle at Companion Home Care. Her compassion, attention to detail, loving nature, and lastly great experience with caring for patients with declining mental conditions was terrific.
The company’s help then was fantastic for our in-home care services. My mother in law passed in 2017 and my father in law moved to a retirement community in the Roanoke area. In January of 2020, his health condition suddenly declined and my wife and sisters needed help again.
The first call went to Michelle and once again she came to the rescue for our family. We could not say enough great things about Companion Home Care and highly recommend the company to anyone in need of their services

Michelle Belton and her dedicated team of caregivers provided considerate aid and assistance to my mother in her final two years of life with advanced dementia. This was a very difficult time, as my mother not only required daily changing, while being stubbornly resistant to basic hygiene, but she also acted out frequently and could be cruel at times in her speech and actions.
After experiencing repeated cancellations by caregivers from another agency, we engaged Companion Home Care and were immediately impressed with both the quality and consistency of care they provided.
Michelle herself covered shifts whenever necessary to make sure that my mother was safe and comfortable; there were minimal, if any, cancellations. Michelle and her team were quite knowledgeable and experienced in caring for dementia patients in particular, and my mother could not have asked for a more adoring group of attendants.
Michelle communicated regularly with family members, gave constructive advice, and established a stable environment for my mother during trying circumstances. There was no disruption or lapse in care because of the pandemic, and the proper safety protocols were followed.
Due in no small part to Companion Home Care, my mother was able to remain in her home of 60+ years until her recent death, surrounded by family. My family and I are incredibly grateful.

We contacted Michelle and her company when my mom needed a caregiver a couple of months ago. Michelle took a lot of time explaining the process to me and most importantly explaining that my mom would receive the same caregivers all the time, which was so important to us.

This message is to inform you how much we appreciate Lyn Boyd. She has been a companion to Louise for months, first at one morning a week and then at two mornings a week.
Louise is difficult to please and she doesn't like a lot of people. But she loves Lyn. Lyn has been so good to her, more like a good friend than a caregiver or companion. Lyn has been willing to take Louise to the doctor, take her grocery shopping, and do some house cleaning.
