A Commitment to Continuing Education
At Companion Home Care, we believe it is crucial to stay up-to-date on the latest trends in home care, Alzheimer's, dementia, and memory care. Owner Michelle Belton is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) with over 14 years of senior home care experience. She regularly attends classes, workshops, and conferences to gain useful knowledge on the latest in home care research and best practices so that she can share this useful information with the Companion Home Care staff.
This week the entire Companion Home Care caregiver team will be participating in a CPR/First-aid certification class and a refresher class for those who are already certified. "Continuing education is vital for us to keep providing the best possible care for our home care clients", said Belton.
